On October 8, President Serdar Berdymukhamedov held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers via a digital system, during which a number of issues concerning the country's state life were reviewed.
The Chairperson of the Mejlis (Parliament), Dunyagozel Gulmanova, provided information on the ongoing activities to further improve national legislation.
In addition, the head of the national parliament read out a Resolution of the Mejlis on awarding President Serdar Berdymukhamedov the honorary title of "Türkmenistanyň at gazanan arhitektory" (Honored Architect of Turkmenistan).
Next, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Khojamyrat Geldimyradov reported on the results of the work carried out to prepare the "Financial Market Development Strategy for the period up to 2030." The Strategy defines the goals, objectives, key directions for the development of the country's financial market, as well as the expected results from its implementation.
Following this, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Batyr Amanov reported on the ongoing activities to modernize the technological systems of the oil refineries of the State Concern "Türkmennebit." In this context, the Deputy Prime Minister submitted a proposal for the modernization of the facilities of the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries for the Head of State's consideration.
Next, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Bayramurat Annamammedov reported on the preparations for the Day of Workers of the Construction and Industrial Complex. The opening ceremonies for a water treatment plant with a capacity of 20 thousand cubic meters of drinking water per day in Esenguly etrap of Balkan velayat, a road bridge across the Garabogazköl Bay, and the foundation laying for a urea production complex with a capacity of 1 million 155 thousand tons of products per year in Turkmenbashi etrap of Balkan velayat and the Turkmenbashi–Garabogaz section of the Turkmenbashi–Garabogaz–Kazakhstan border highway are planned to be timed to coincide with this significant date.
Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Nokerghuly Atagulyyev reported on the ongoing work to increase the country's foreign trade turnover and expand its export potential. In this context, he presented a proposal for the Head of State's consideration concerning price control for goods exported from our country and products imported into Turkmenistan.
Following that, Deputy Prime Minister Bakhar Seyidova reported on the draft Resolution of the President of the country "On Approval of the Strategy for the Development of Cultural Diplomacy of Turkmenistan for 2026–2052," the main goals of which are the development of the country's cultural diplomacy, the international recognition of national cultural heritage, traditions, and customs inherited from ancestors, the popularization of principles reflecting national identity and aimed at perfection, and the establishment of long-term interstate relations.
Deputy Chairperson of the Cabinet of Ministers Bayramgul Orazdurdyeva then reported on the progress of preparations for the Day of Health and Medical Industry Workers of Turkmenistan. In honor of the holiday, a modern Health House in Bagtyyarlyk etrap of Ashgabat and the Mary Velayat Tuberculosis Hospital with 300 beds are planned to be commissioned.
Next, the floor was given to Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Minister of Foreign Affairs Rashid Meredov, who presented the draft Regulation on Permanent Missions of Turkmenistan to International Organizations for the Head of State's consideration. The document is aimed at comprehensive assistance to the development and expansion of cooperation with international organizations, and the coordination of our country's relevant work within their framework.
Deputy Prime Minister Mammetkhan Chakyev reported on the preparation of the draft "Concept for the Development of the Digital Economy in Turkmenistan for 2026–2028," the main goals of which are the development of digital infrastructure, the creation of favorable conditions for the effective development of state bodies and all sectors of the economy, and increasing the country's competitiveness through the introduction of advanced production technologies and the improvement of legislation.
Then, addressing the members of the Cabinet of Ministers, the President of Turkmenistan emphasized that the Day of Health and Medical Industry Workers will be widely celebrated on October 10. Taking the opportunity, the Head of State heartily congratulated the participants of the meeting and all health and medical industry workers on this holiday.
