Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Hojamyrat Geldimyradov presented a draft resolution on the "Financial Market Development Strategy to 2030" to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov at a government meeting on October 8.
The Strategy defines the goals, objectives, and key areas for financial market development in the country, as well as the expected results of its implementation. According to the document, it envisages modernizing the institutional structure of the financial market and its legislative framework, taking into account international standards, national interests, and the best practices of developed countries in this area. At the same time, it is planned to take measures aimed at effective financial management, increasing investment, further improving the national insurance market, and expanding economic ties based on market relations.
After hearing the report, the head of state noted that productive work is underway in the country to develop the financial market and improve the legislative framework in this area. After signing the decree, the head of state addressed the corresponding instructions to the Deputy Prime Minister.
