Positive macroeconomic indicators achieved in Turkmenistan over 11 months

Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Hojamyrat Geldimyradov reported on macroeconomic indicators for the eleven months of the current year at a government meeting on December 5.

As reported, during the designated period, the GDP growth rate reached 6.3 percent, including 1.7 percent in the industrial sector, 8.1 percent in construction, 10 percent in the transport and communications complex, 9.7 percent in trade, 7 percent in agriculture, and 7.4 percent in the service sector.

Following the results of eleven months of this year, the revenue part of the State Budget was executed at 100.5 percent, and the expenditure part – at the level of 97.6 percent.

Wages in large and medium-sized enterprises of the country are 11.9 percent higher compared to the corresponding period of 2024. Wages, pensions, state benefits, and student scholarships were financed in a timely manner.

Compared to the same period of last year, the volume of capital investments utilized from all sources of financing is 2.8 percent higher.

Having heard the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov focused attention on the importance of further improving the activities of the economic, financial, and banking complexes. The Head of State also instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to keep under strict control the payment of wages to employees of all institutions and enterprises, regardless of the form of ownership, by December 20 and to submit a report on the results of the work carried out.
