On June 13, during a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, Deputy Prime Minister H. Geldimyradov reported on the practical steps being taken to strengthen multi-format cooperation with the United Nations and its specialized structures.
As reported, within the framework of the implementation of the second stage of the relevant regional UNDP project with the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, it is planned to create training and information centers in the Departments of this department in the city of Ashgabat and 6 etraps of the velayats. This work is aimed at organizing professional courses for young people and expanding their opportunities, as well as for other purposes.
In this regard, a corresponding proposal was submitted to the head of state for consideration.
After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that one of the priority vectors of Turkmenistan's foreign policy is the development of multifaceted cooperation with the United Nations and its specialized structures. Having approved the proposal to create training and information centers within the framework of a regional project implemented by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population jointly with the UN Development Program, the head of state instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to carry out the relevant work.
