Representatives of the business community of Turkmenistan are expected at the international trade and logistics forum "Middle Volga – Caspian". The event will be held in Ulyanovsk (Russian Federation) on December 5-6 as part of the business forum "Business Climate in Russia". 

The forum is organized by the Government of the Ulyanovsk Region and the Afanasy Nikitin Association. 

Among the participants are leading logistics and transport companies, including maritime, rail, river, road transport, and air delivery to the countries of the south; shipowners, port and railway terminal operators, as well as companies engaged in cross-border financial logistics. The forum is aimed at developing trade and economic cooperation between Russia and the countries of the Caspian region. 

The participants will focus on discussing issues related to multitransport logistics, consideration of trade finance instruments, and insurance of export operations. Special attention will be paid to the North-South transport corridor project, which will provide direct cargo delivery from the ports of the Middle Volga to the Persian Gulf. The participants will also discuss the specifics of exports to the CIS and BRICS countries.
