A delegation of Turkmenistan, consisting of representatives of the International Science and Technology Park of the Academy of Sciences and the Ministry of Environmental Protection of Turkmenistan, participated in the Eighth CAREC Think Tank Development Forum "Climate Challenge: Thinking Across Borders for Collective Action". 

The event was attended by more than 120 representatives of regional think tanks, CAREC member countries, universities, development organisations, and media. The aim of the meeting was to jointly seek solutions to the growing climate challenges through coordinated regional strategies.

Speakers at the Forum emphasised the need for unity in confronting the growing impacts of climate change, advocating sharing of experiences, challenges, and successes to ensure a sustainable, resilient, and prosperous future for the CAREC region. Participants discussed success stories of climate change adaptation in different countries, stressing the importance of engaging governments, local communities, and civil society organisations in developing effective climate policies.

The Turkmen delegation made a presentation on "Innovation and Adaptation to Climate Change in Turkmenistan" at the Forum, presenting our country's experience and constructive proposals to address climate challenges.

The Forum also featured presentations, panel discussions, case studies, and interactive sessions aimed at promoting dialogue and developing effective strategies to build climate resilience in the CAREC region
