Turkmenistan Accredits Its First Ambassador to New Zealand

Atadurdy Bayramov has become the first Ambassador of Turkmenistan to receive accreditation in New Zealand. The credential presentation ceremony was held under the chairmanship of the Governor-General of New Zealand, Cindy Kiro. This was reported by the International Information Center of Turkmenistan with reference to the press service of the Governor-General of New Zealand.

Ambassadors from Türkiye, Poland, the Solomon Islands, and the Federated States of Micronesia also took part in the solemn ceremony, presenting their credentials to the New Zealand leadership.

The appointment of Turkmenistan’s first ambassador to New Zealand marks an important milestone in the development of bilateral relations between the two countries. This step is part of Turkmenistan’s strategy to expand its diplomatic network and create new opportunities for international cooperation.

Ambassador Bayramov expressed his intention to actively promote the strengthening of political, economic, and cultural ties between the two nations. The accreditation of the diplomatic mission will allow Turkmenistan to participate more actively in international affairs in the Oceania region and enhance its cooperation with the New Zealand government.
