The creative competition for women was held at the Cultural and Business Center of the State Concern "Türkmengaz" under the motto "Arkadag and Arkadagly Serdar make you happy, Pyragy praises you, our women — you bring fortune!"

The event, organized by the Primary Women's Organization of the State Concern "Türkmengaz" in cooperation with the "Oil and Gas" newspaper, commemorated the 300th anniversary of the great Eastern poet and thinker Magtymguly Pyragy. It gathered leading industry workers, students from the Yagshygeldy Kakayev University of Oil and Gas, and other guests.

The ceremony began with performances by artists of the Cultural and Business Center and the children’s dance group "Galkynysh". The audience warmly received the poetic readings of Magtymguly, performed by the Honored Artist of Turkmenistan Batyr Charyev, who appeared in the guise of the poet.

At the most solemn moment of the competition, the host announced the results declared by the jury. According to the rules, six winners were awarded prizes. First place was taken by Shemshat Nefesova, an accountant from the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries of the State Concern "Türkmennebit" and a member of the People's Council of the city of Turkmenbashi.

Second places were awarded to Akgyul Saparova, a correspondent for the "Oil and Gas" newspaper, and Ogulsuray Garayeva, an engineer from the Center for Geological Information of the State Corporation "Türkmengeologiýa". Third places were given to Gulshat Muratmukhammedova, the chief specialist on leading issues of the State Concern "Türkmengaz", Mayse Khallyeva, the chief economist of the "Marygazçykaryş" administration, and Bayramgul Setdarova, a specialist from the "Aşgabatgaz" management of the association "Türkmengazüpjünjilik". The winners received honorary diplomas, valuable gifts, and flowers.

Following the award ceremony, music performed by singers and musicians of the Cultural and Business Center of the State Concern "Türkmengaz" filled the stage.
