On October 22, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov congratulated the participants of the International Conference and Exhibition "Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan–2025", which began its work in Ashgabat.
“This forum, which has become an annual tradition, provides a platform to discuss the priority directions for the development of our country’s fuel and energy sector, ways to enhance mutually beneficial partnerships, as well as modern methods for introducing new technologies into the oil and gas industry and modernizing production.
The international conference, along with the large-scale exhibition held in parallel, offers an opportunity to get acquainted with innovations, advanced developments, and new projects.
Our independent and neutral Homeland, possessing vast hydrocarbon reserves, seeks to use its natural resources not only in the national interest but also for the benefit of other nations in the region and the world. In this regard, the consolidation of efforts is a key factor in achieving the set goals.
Therefore, the diversification of the complex’s export capabilities, the creation of an extensive pipeline network, the strengthening of logistics potential, as well as the expansion of international cooperation in this field, constitute one of the priorities of our country’s energy strategy.
Of particular significance in this context is the launch in July of this year of the third oil-loading terminal at the Kenar Enterprise for the Storage and Shipment of Petroleum Products, part of the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries under the State Concern ‘Türkmennebit’,” the Head of State emphasized.
“Independent and neutral Turkmenistan offers significant opportunities to all those interested in equal and mutually beneficial cooperation. Confidence in the economic stability of our country boosts the desire of foreign businesses to invest in promising projects.
I am confident that the international conference and exhibition, held this year for the 30th time at a high level, will play an important role in the exchange of experience and ideas between domestic specialists and foreign partners, and in expanding broad cooperation in the future,” Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted.
The President wished the participants of the exhibition and conference good health, well-being, a happy life, and great success in their work.
