As noted, large-scale celebrations are being held these days dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the birth of the great classical poet and thinker of the East Makhtumkuli Fragi, a poet of both the Turkmen and Turkic peoples.

Recep Tayyip Erdogan emphasized that Turkey is watching with great interest the celebrations that are taking place in our country and abroad on the occasion of the anniversary of the outstanding master of the word, and wished success to the international forum in honor of the great poet Makhtumkuli Fraga, which will be held in Ashgabat in the near future.

Taking the opportunity, the head of the friendly country expressed warm greetings and best wishes to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.

Expressing gratitude for the wishes for the successful holding of the international forum dedicated to the 300th anniversary of Makhtumkuli, the Arkadag Hero emphasized that Recep Tayyip Erdogan made a worthy contribution to the study and transmission to future generations of the creative heritage of the classic poet of Turkmen literature Makhtumkuli Fragi.
