Last week, a total of 17 transactions were registered at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan. The main share of the trades consisted of high-quality products manufactured by the State Concern “Türkmennebit”.
In foreign currency transactions, entrepreneurs from the United Arab Emirates primarily purchased aviation kerosene produced by “Türkmennebit,” once again confirming the strong international demand for this product. Additionally, business representatives from the UAE, Turkey, Serbia, Kyrgyzstan, and Ukraine purchased various textile products — bedding sets, plain-dyed and jacquard terry fabrics, as well as licorice root and cotton yarn. The total value of these deals exceeded 7 million 811 thousand US dollars.
On the domestic market, national entrepreneurs mainly purchased polypropylene and Turkmen agglomerate produced by enterprises with advanced production capacity of the “Türkmennebit” State Concern, as well as base oil, cotton yarn, cotton fabric, and cotton fiber. The total value of these transactions exceeded 67 million 237 thousand manats.
