​This year, marked by grandiose labor achievements, the "Storehouse of the Mind of Mahtumkuly Fragi", when the whole country solemnly celebrates the Harvest Festival, the cotton growers of the Balkan Velayat were the first to fulfill contractual obligations for the harvesting of raw cotton. They collected and handed over more than 16 thousand tons of "white gold" to the harman of the Motherland.

The achievement of the field workers is a clear evidence of the successful implementation, under the far–sighted leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, of the agrarian reforms initiated by the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero Arkadag, and now consistently implemented.

As part of the reforms implemented by the head of state, a policy is consistently being pursued to update the technical park of the agro-industrial complex, the widespread introduction of new technologies that contribute to increasing crop yields.

The achievement of Balkan cotton growers demonstrated the success of comprehensive measures implemented in the country to build the potential of the agricultural sector and optimize the working conditions of farmers.

The current achievement of the field workers of the western region of the country has increased the solemnity of the Harvest Festival, celebrated in honor of the fertile Turkmen land and the noble work of the masters of high yields.
