ADNOC (UAE), which in 2024 established the international energy investment company XRG, will present the largest delegation at the 30th International Conference and Exhibition "Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan – 2025" (OGT 2025). The company’s participation includes a large interactive exhibition stand, Diamond Sponsor status, and keynote speeches by ADNOC executives during the conference. The landmark 30th edition of the forum will be held in Ashgabat from October 22 to 24, 2025.
ADNOC’s involvement highlights the importance of OGT 2025 as a premier international platform for enhancing energy cooperation. It also offers XRG an opportunity to carry forward ADNOC’s legacy as a responsible global leader, advancing its mission to ensure universal access to energy and promote sustainable development.
The company's commitment to developing cooperation with Turkmenistan was reaffirmed in May of this year when XRG acquired a 38% stake in the offshore gas field “Block I” under a Production Sharing Agreement (PSA) with the state concerns "Türkmennebit", "Hazarnebit", and PETRONAS. This marked a significant expansion of ADNOC’s operations in the Caspian region.
In the coming months, ADNOC plans to open a new office in Ashgabat, which will serve as a hub for continued cooperation, capacity building, and innovation.
As an official partner, ADNOC will take part in strategic discussions on infrastructure development, diversification, and regional energy supply, supporting Turkmenistan’s goal of attracting long-term investment and strengthening energy cooperation across the Eurasian region.
