On September 13, the opening ceremony of the modernized park "15th Anniversary of Turkmenistan Independence" was held in Ashgabat, timed to coincide with the 34th anniversary of the country's independence.
The event was attended by the Chairman of the Mejlis, Deputy Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers, heads of ministries and departments, public organizations, representatives of the media of Turkmenistan, as well as respected elders, students and happy children.
The ceremony participants noted that the opening of the park is a clear evidence of the continuation of the humane principle of the Hero Arkadag "The state is for the people!" under the wise leadership of Arkadagly Hero Serdar.
The new park has all the conditions for recreation of residents and guests of the capital. Its beautiful appearance harmoniously combines special areas for interesting and useful pastime of children, lawns with flowers and plantings of various types of trees. Bicycle paths, rest areas and lighting systems will provide cultural leisure for visitors of all ages.
On the occasion of the opening of the modernized park, various performances were held here. Performances by a children's violin ensemble, fairy-tale characters, and artists of the Turkmen State Puppet Theater made a great impression not only on the happy children, but also on everyone present at the event.
An unforgettable event was the award ceremony for the winners of creative and sports competitions organized as part of this celebration. They were presented with special gifts on behalf of the President of the country and Hero Arkadag.
The happy children expressed their sincere gratitude to the head of state and the National Leader of the Turkmen people for their care.
