The President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country, General of the Army Serdar Berdimuhamedov took part in the opening ceremony of the new complex of buildings of the border detachment "Sarahs" of the State Border Service on September 12.
In the morning, the helicopter of the President of Turkmenistan, which took off from the International Airport of the capital, after some time arrived at the place of the opening ceremony of the new complex of buildings of the "Sarahs" border detachment. Here, the Secretary of the State Security Council, Minister of Defense B. Gundogdyev reported to the head of state on the readiness to open the new complex of buildings of the "Sarahs" border detachment of the State Border Service.
To the thunderous applause of the participants of the ceremony, the President of Turkmenistan cut the symbolic ribbon, opening the new facility.
The head of state Serdar Berdimuhamedov visited the administrative building of the complex and got acquainted with the created conditions. The Head of State also left a memorable entry in the Book of Honor.
Here, the head of Turkmenistan was also presented with a beautiful Turkmen carpet as a gift on behalf of the border guards.
Then, the head of state visited the barracks located on the territory of the border detachment, where he got acquainted with the conditions created. The president also got acquainted with the new military equipment with high combat characteristics that entered service with the military structures.
Then, the Head of State visited one of the new modern residential buildings built on the territory of the complex for military personnel and their families. Here, the Head of State presented gifts to family members who moved to the new house. The members of the happy family who moved to the new apartment, following the original traditions, presented the President of Turkmenistan with a festive gift.
Then, in honor of the opening of the new complex of buildings of the "Sarahs" border detachment of the State Border Service, the President of Turkmenistan presented the keys to new cars.
The modern border detachment complex that has been commissioned includes an administrative building, a parade ground, a canteen, a community center for 300 people, barracks, a medical unit, an open sports ground, a sports and fitness center, a parking lot for vehicles, as well as utility and household facilities that provide proper service and comfortable conditions for border guards. The complex includes 4 modern residential complexes with 36 apartments for 144 families, a store, a children's playground, and a sports ground.
