A meeting of the Steering Committee (RSPG) of the BOMCA Border Management Program in Central Asia, funded by the European Union, was held in Ashgabat.
During the meeting, the participants discussed key issues and prospects for the implementation of the program aimed at strengthening security and developing cross-border cooperation in the region.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Cosimo Lamberti Fossati, Project Manager of the EU Delegation in Kyrgyzstan, who represented the donors of the program. His participation highlighted the importance of the support provided by the European Union through the BOMCA initiative.
The BOMCA program plays an important role in improving border management systems, enhancing the effectiveness of law enforcement and trade facilitation in Central Asia, contributing to the stability and sustainable development of the region.
