The Central Election Commission of Turkmenistan summed up the voting results for the presidential elections in the country. In accordance with the results, candidate from the democratic party Serdar Gurbangulyyevich Berdimuhamedov became the new President of Turkmenistan.

In general, 3 362 052 voters took part in the voting, which consisted 91,17%.
