Turkmenistan possesses enormous reserves of fuel resources. In this regard, the esteemed President pays special attention to entering the global markets to achieve long-term stability in this area and to ensure broad access for consumers to economically advantageous and environmentally clean energy resources. Therefore, the diversification of export routes for fuel resources and, consequently, the creation of a developed and multi-purpose pipeline infrastructure is a priority direction of our country's successful energy strategy.
Possessing vast energy resources, Turkmenistan effectively implements humanistic principles in utilizing its energy wealth not only for the benefit of our people but for all of humanity. Based on these objectives, the fuel and energy complex is being modernized. Innovative technologies are consistently being introduced into the industry. This contributes to increasing the capacity of the electric power sector and modernizing the export capabilities of electric energy. The energy policy of our country is aimed at reliably and uninterruptedly meeting domestic needs and exporting electricity to foreign consumers. A vivid example of this is the construction of the Turkmenistan-China transnational gas pipeline. Additionally, the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India (TAPI) gas pipeline project holds immense geopolitical and geoeconomic significance. This new energy bridge will not only ensure long-term supplies of Turkmen natural gas to the countries of South Asia but will also be crucial for the socio-economic development of the entire region, strengthening business cooperation and stability.
