As we reported earlier, a creative competition titled "Happy with Arkadag and Arkadagly Serdar, praised by Pyragy, our women — you are the chosen ones of happiness!" was recently held among women working in the oil and gas sector of our country, and the winners were announced. In this competition, Shemshat Nefesova, an accountant at the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries of the State Concern "Turkmennebit" and a member of the People's Council of the city of Turkmenbashi, won first place, significantly ahead of other participants.
Creativity is the destiny of the oilworker woman. She entered this wonderful world back in her school years. Even during her studies at the Turkmenbashi Pedagogical College (1996–1999) and while working as a history teacher in her hometown after graduation, Shemshat did not put down her pen. Enrolling in the Turkmen State University named after Magtymguly in 2001 became an opportunity for the inspired Shemshat to strive for greater goals. Despite not being able to fully continue her studies due to family circumstances, the world of inspiration gave her special hopes.
The creative talent of the woman, rooted in the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries, blossomed in the early years of her work there. She still works in this collective, inspired by both destiny and flourishing. It is worth noting that Shemshat is a graduate of the Technical Training Center at this complex.
Shemshat is always grateful to the editorial staff of the "Oilworker" newspaper and its chief editor, Mehlitach Deryagulyyev, who always supported young talents, for her achievements in the creative world. It was after participating in a competition announced by this newspaper that she reached new heights in the creative world. The creative world that began with "Oilworker" soon extended to the central publications of the country. Over the years, she won creative competitions announced by newspapers such as "Nesil" and "Balkan", as well as by the Magtymguly Youth Union, the Democratic Party, and the Women's Union of Turkmenistan.
Shemshat always remembers her mentors with great respect in the early steps of her creative world. Her Turkmen language and literature teacher, honored journalist of Turkmenistan Nazmuhammet Hojaberdiev, inspired the young poetess's first interest. The mentor read her first poems, written with a child's heart, such as "To My Teacher" and "My Friend, My Keeper — The Book," and gave her guidance. In later years, advice from creative figures such as Hero of Turkmenistan Gozel Shagulyyeva, people's writer of Turkmenistan Orazguly Annayev, and poet Kakamyrat Rejebov took a special place in Shemshat's inspired world.
The poetess not only publishes her poems in periodicals but also actively collaborates with the "Dagdan" folklore ensemble of the TNGIZT cultural and sports complex, creating modern ghazals for the group's performers. Several of her ghazals are performed by the people's artist of Turkmenistan Amanbibi Mamedova. The poetess also wrote songs for the children's dance group "Kenar" of the oil loading company, such as "Come to Awaza!", "Oilmen, Girls and Boys", "The City of Arkadag — The City of Happiness". Her poems were turned into inspired songs by other performers.
Since last year, Shemshat Nefesova has been heading the first organization of the Democratic Party of Turkmenistan at the "Turkmennebit" State Concern TNGIZT. She is also a member of the People's Council of the city of Turkmenbashi. Actively participating in public activities, the oilworker woman with an inspired heart is a celebrator of the great deeds of our revival era, led by our Hero Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar.
