The Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan has signed an agreement with the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship.
The document was signed during a meeting with the Foundation’s Vice President for Medical Activities, Oguljahan Atabaeva. The event was timed to coincide with two significant anniversaries: the 30th anniversary of the adoption of the «Saglyk» (Health) state program initiated by Turkmenistan’s Hero-Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, and the 4th anniversary of the establishment of the Charitable Foundation.
It was noted that over the 30 years of the «Saglyk» program’s implementation, the country’s healthcare system has undergone extensive transformations. Advanced practices, technologies, and modern treatment methods have been introduced across all health-related institutions, ensuring that medical services meet high international standards.
As part of the «Saglyk» program, modern health centers that comply with the World Health Organization’s requirements have been commissioned in various regions of the country, including in Ashgabat and the city of Arkadag.
It was also emphasized that the humanitarian principles of the Charitable Foundation aim to promote the health of the younger generation, support surgeries, and provide rehabilitation for children with illnesses.
