On October 7, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov received the Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia, Gordan Grlić-Radman.
Expressing gratitude for the time allocated for the meeting, the guest noted that Croatia highly values its friendly relations with Turkmenistan.
Highlighting the productive nature of cooperation with European countries, Serdar Berdimuhamedov stated that the partnership between Turkmenistan and Croatia is based on the principles of friendship, equality, and mutual benefit.
As part of the Croatian Foreign Minister’s current visit, a regular meeting of the Turkmen-Croatian Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation is scheduled.
A business forum with the participation of representatives from both countries' business circles will also be held. Emphasizing the importance of this upcoming event for establishing direct dialogue between entrepreneurs, discussing joint projects, and identifying new areas of mutually beneficial partnership, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov wished the forum success and fruitful results.
Stressing Turkmenistan’s interest in the consistent development of bilateral cooperation in the political, economic, trade, and cultural-humanitarian spheres, the head of state reaffirmed the country’s readiness to consider specific proposals from the Croatian side in these areas.
