
On behalf of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, Speaker of the Mejlis Dunyagozel Gulmanova accepted the credentials of the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Niger to Turkmenistan, Seidou Zataou Ali, on November 13.
On behalf of the head of state, the Speaker of the National Parliament congratulated the diplomat on his appointment to this important post and wished him success in strengthening relations between the two countries.
Expressing gratitude for the kind words and hospitality extended to him in Turkmenistan, the Ambassador, on behalf of the leadership of the Republic of Niger, conveyed best wishes to President Berdimuhamedov and all the people of Turkmenistan.
During the meeting, the diplomat was briefed on the structure of the Mejlis and its activities to comprehensively improve national legislation, as well as on the main directions of our country's domestic and foreign policy. In this regard, it was noted that Turkmenistan is interested in developing constructive cooperation with countries around the world, including those on the African continent.
Expressing gratitude for the fruitful meeting, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Niger, Seidou Zataou Ali, emphasized his great honor to represent his country in Turkmenistan and assured that he will make every effort to strengthen friendly interstate relations.
