During a regular meeting of the Government, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan B. Amanov reported on the activities of the State Corporation "Türkmengeologiýa" aimed at identifying new deposits of oil and natural gas.
According to the Deputy Prime Minister, active exploration for hydrocarbon raw material deposits is currently underway in the western and southern regions of the country, utilizing modern equipment, seismic technology, and advanced software systems.
The successful completion of this work will significantly increase the volume of hydrocarbon production in the country.
After hearing the report, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized that great attention is paid to high-quality and effective geological exploration activities in the country. The Head of State noted the systematic work being carried out to identify underground deposits of oil and natural gas.
In this regard, the President instructed the State Corporation "Türkmengeologiýa" to continue hydrocarbon exploration at the proper level and to intensify efforts in this direction.
