During President Serdar Berdimuhamedov's official visit to Italy on October 25, a ceremony to exchange bilateral documents took place.
These documents included: a Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in Personnel Training between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Italian Republic; an Agreement on Cultural Cooperation between the Government of Turkmenistan and the Government of the Italian Republic; a Memorandum of Understanding between the State Committee of Turkmenistan for Television, Radio Broadcasting, and Cinematography and the Italian Public Broadcasting Company; and a Joint Declaration between the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan and the Customs and Monopoly Agency of Italy on Future Customs Cooperation.
Bilateral meetings between representatives of Turkmenistan and Italy were held on the sidelines of the forum, during which areas of cooperation of mutual interest were discussed.
