President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov has approved a proposal to improve the procedures for cargo operations during the export of oil, oil products, and petrochemical goods. This was announced during a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers held in digital format on May 29.
Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers B. Amanov presented a report on the improvement of regulatory and methodological documents governing cargo operations for the export of hydrocarbon resources. As noted, a draft of the “Rules for Conducting Cargo Operations at Sea Ports and Port Points of Turkmenistan During the Export of Oil, Oil Products, and Petrochemical Products” was developed in cooperation with relevant state bodies.
Summarizing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the comprehensive development of the oil and gas sector in the country. Approving the submitted proposal, the head of state instructed the Vice Premier to carry out the necessary work in this direction.
