At the Cabinet of Ministers meeting on July 4, Deputy Chairman B. Amanov reported on modernization measures for the State Concern “Türkmengaz.”

It was reported that steps are being taken to develop the fuel and energy sector, including exploration and development of oil and gas fields using innovative technologies. To increase the accuracy of well data analysis, the Vice Premier proposed equipping the industry with modern types of geophysical equipment.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted the effective work being carried out in the country to explore hydrocarbon reserves and approved the proposal to improve the concern’s technical base, instructing that appropriate measures be taken.
