On October 27, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Korea organized a gala event on the theme "Introducing Turkmenistan: Foreign Policy, Cultural Heritage, and Tourism Opportunities."
In his welcoming speech, Turkmenistan's Ambassador to Korea, Begench Durdyev, emphasized the importance of the upcoming High-Level International Forum, which will be held in Ashgabat on December 12, 2025.
Ambassador Durdyev called on the Korean side and representatives of foreign countries to actively participate in the upcoming Forum at the highest level, emphasizing that the event will become a global platform for high-level dialogue on issues of peace, preventive diplomacy, sustainable development, and international cooperation.
As part of the event, a special book exhibition was organized, featuring works by President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and National Leader of the Turkmen People, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
A traditional Turkmen yurt (Ak oy) also hosted a cultural and artistic exhibition of Turkmen handicrafts, including traditional Turkmen carpets, embroideries, and jewelry, reflecting the rich spiritual and cultural heritage of the Turkmen people.
