On March 28, a meeting took place between Oguljahon Atabayeva, Vice-President for Medical Activities of the Charitable Foundation for Assisting Children in Need of Care named after Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, and Inna Svyatenko, Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, who arrived in our country to participate in the International Conference "Year of Peace and Trust: Advancing International Activities for the Sake of Children."
Thanking the guest for accepting the invitation to participate in the prestigious international forum, Vice-President for Medical Activities of the Foundation O. Atabayeva emphasized the importance of cooperation between Turkmenistan and Russia in the fields of science, education, and healthcare. Taking the opportunity, she conveyed words of gratitude from Hero-Arkadag and President Serdar Berdimuhamedov to the leadership of the friendly country for the attention given to the development of relations in these areas.
In turn, Inna Svyatenko, expressing sincere gratitude for the opportunity to visit Turkmenistan, noted the high level of progressively developing partnership between the two friendly countries in the cultural-humanitarian direction.
During the meeting, issues of interstate humanitarian cooperation were discussed. Special emphasis was placed on the significant role of the Charitable Foundation for Assisting Children in Need of Care named after Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov in strengthening traditional bonds of friendship.
It was noted during the conversation that the primary task of the Foundation is to protect children’s health and carry out work aimed at achieving humanitarian goals. In this context, it was underscored that the activities being implemented contribute to ensuring the harmonious development of young Turkmen citizens, enabling them to fully experience the comprehensive care provided to them and to take a worthy place in society.
Particular attention was drawn to the Foundation’s efforts in providing humanitarian aid sent to various countries around the world. Specifically, the significance of the humanitarian assistance provided by the Foundation to children affected by a natural disaster in Russia’s Primorsky Krai was highlighted.
Highly appreciating the work of the Charitable Foundation for Assisting Children in Need of Care named after Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Inna Svyatenko expressed deep gratitude for the opportunity to exchange views on the extensive activities of the Charitable Foundation, which enjoys great authority not only in the region but also worldwide.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Vice-President for Medical Activities of the Charitable Foundation for Assisting Children in Need of Care named after Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Oguljahon Atabayeva, and Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, Inna Svyatenko, extended best wishes to each other, expressing confidence in the further strengthening of fruitful humanitarian cooperation.
