Preparations for the current year's cotton harvest are in the final stage, with measures taken to ensure that producers receive high-quality seeds for the planting season.

Additionally, vegetative irrigation is being carried out for fields planted with spring potatoes and vegetable crops.

The velayat is also preparing for the nationwide tree-planting campaign.

Furthermore, the hyakim reported on the progress of construction projects for social, cultural, and industrial facilities, scheduled for completion this year as part of the President of Turkmenistan's Program for Socio-Economic Development (2022–2028) and the National Rural Program.

After hearing the report, the head of state emphasized the importance of ongoing seasonal agricultural campaigns and instructed the hyakim to ensure compliance with agronomic standards in wheat cultivation and preparations for cotton planting.

Additionally, preparatory measures for the upcoming cotton planting season include land planning and irrigation, as well as the collection and storage of a sufficient volume of high-quality seeds for cotton farmers.

At the same time, irrigation continues for fields planted with spring potatoes and onions, alongside the planting of other vegetable and melon crops.

Following the President of Turkmenistan’s directive to transform the country into a flourishing land and establish green zones, preparations are underway in the velayat to carry out a high-level tree-planting season as part of the nationwide greening campaign.

Additionally, the hyakim reported on the construction progress of social, cultural, and industrial facilities set to be inaugurated this year under the President’s Socio-Economic Development Program (2022–2028) and the National Rural Program.

After reviewing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized that the proper execution of ongoing agricultural measures is essential for achieving high crop yields. In this regard, he issued relevant instructions to the hyakim.
