On March 5, Oguljahan Atabaeva, Vice President for Medical Activities of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care, met with relevant officials to review the progress of work being carried out at the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Children’s Health and Rehabilitation Center, located in the new city. The meeting also addressed issues related to ensuring the continued high-level operation of the Foundation.

As a result of the successful implementation of large-scale healthcare reforms initiated by Hero-Arkadag and now continued under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, strengthening the health of the younger generation, fostering the harmonious development of youth, and promoting the principles of a healthy lifestyle in society have been identified as critical priorities of our time.

In this regard, ensuring the physical and spiritual health of the happy generations of our beloved Motherland and protecting the health of mothers and children are among the key priorities of Turkmenistan’s state policy. It should be noted that in its activities, the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care is guided by the humanistic principles inherent to our people throughout their history, which serve as an exemplary model worldwide.

Today, the meeting focused on a detailed discussion of the work accomplished by the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Children’s Health and Rehabilitation Center over the reporting period, the opportunities created at the center, and issues concerning the health condition of the children undergoing treatment.

The Director of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Children’s Health and Rehabilitation Center, M. Okuzova, reported to the Vice President of the Foundation on the activities being carried out. It was emphasized that the responsibilities of each doctor and specialist working at the center are clearly defined and successfully fulfilled through collective efforts. In this context, great importance is attached to the comprehensive development of children and the full restoration of their health.

During the meeting, it was also reported that young patients who underwent surgeries with the support of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care receive proper rehabilitation at the center. As demonstrated by medical science and years of experience, the use of various toys and other appropriate items in the recovery process enhances the effectiveness of the medical services provided.

As is well known, this year marks the fourth anniversary of the Foundation’s establishment. In this regard, the meeting discussed events planned to commemorate this milestone.

The Director of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Children’s Health and Rehabilitation Center noted that, in line with the State Program “Saglyk,” developed through the efforts of Doctor Arkadag, the state currently places special emphasis on the harmonious development and healthy growth of children. This vividly demonstrates that human health is a priority in our country.

The Vice President for Medical Activities of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care emphasized that raising a healthy younger generation remains at the center of the state’s constant attention. In this regard, coordinated efforts are necessary to further enhance the effectiveness of the Foundation’s work.

Speaking on this matter, O. Atabaeva underscored the importance of establishing coordinated efforts among relevant entities to steadily advance the humanistic principles initiated by Hero-Arkadag, which are now being worthily continued by Arkadagly Hero Serdar. In this context, a key task is to further intensify this work based on the valuable guidance of Doctor Arkadag.

The doctors and specialists of the center participating in the meeting assured that they would apply all their efforts and experience to successfully address the set tasks and effectively utilize the opportunities created at the state level through the efforts of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.

Subsequently, O. Atabaeva visited the kindergarten of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Children’s Health and Rehabilitation Center. The joy and uplifted spirits of the young attendees served as clear evidence that the conditions created here fully meet modern requirements and high international standards.

The Center’s Director provided detailed information about the facilities available at the kindergarten, its equipment, and the results of the work being conducted there. It was noted that in our beloved Motherland, recognized as a country of happy childhood, caring for the harmonious development and health of children is one of the key directions of state policy.

Today, social support for the younger generation, assistance in restoring the health of children in need of care, and the creation of favorable conditions for their happy lives form the foundation of the noble activities of the President of Turkmenistan.

It is gratifying to note that, with the support of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care, significant efforts are being made to protect the health of the younger generation and provide children with necessary treatment. This serves as yet another confirmation of the importance attached at the state level to ensuring the well-being of young Turkmen citizens.

The kindergarten’s attendees joyfully and enthusiastically recited poetic lines, expressing their sincere gratitude to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Hero-Arkadag for the conditions created, which are the fruits of efforts aimed at ensuring a bright future for the younger generation of the Motherland.

It was noted that a group of doctors working at the center had participated in international training seminars, such as “Early Child Development and Early Intervention.” It was also emphasized that children undergoing treatment and attending the center’s kindergarten regularly receive sweet gifts on holidays and significant dates celebrated in our country.

Next, O. Atabaeva visited the treatment unit of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Children’s Health and Rehabilitation Center. It was reported that extensive work is being carried out at this center in the city of Arkadag to restore children’s health.

The doctors working in the center’s departments, which meet modern requirements and high international standards, proudly emphasized that all necessary conditions have been created here for the swift recovery and rehabilitation of children. It was noted that the medical services provided at the Center are comprehensive, which is considered a key factor in the recovery of young patients.

The doctors also spoke about the equipment in each department and the optimal opportunities created there, highlighting the high effectiveness of treatment using advanced equipment from leading global manufacturers. They also expressed that it is a great honor for them to work in this state-of-the-art center.

It was noted that the medical specialists working here have undergone training at leading clinical centers worldwide, enhancing their qualifications. Deep gratitude was expressed to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Doctor Arkadag for their care in equipping the center’s departments and creating all necessary conditions at the state level.

The doctors highlighted that the treatment unit of the center has established a reliable foundation for providing medical assistance to children in need of care, restoring their health, and ensuring the availability of necessary medications, emphasizing that the gratitude of recovered children and their parents, now living happy lives, knows no bounds.

The Center’s Director and doctors assured that they would make every effort to successfully fulfill the tasks set before them in this direction.

Then, the children expressed their love for the Motherland, rightfully regarded as a land of happy childhood, as well as their heartfelt gratitude to Arkadagly Hero Serdar and Hero-Arkadag through poems, songs, and inspiring dances.

On behalf of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, festive gifts were presented to the girls undergoing treatment at the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Children’s Health and Rehabilitation Center in honor of International Women’s Day. The girls accepted the gifts with gratitude and expressed their heartfelt thanks.

Additionally, all children receiving treatment at the center were given various gifts on behalf of the President of the country and Hero-Arkadag, serving as yet another manifestation of the state’s constant care for the younger generation.

The celebration, filled with joyful events and memorable moments, uplifted the children’s spirits and heightened their joy and excitement. At their request, a commemorative photo was taken.
