It is gratifying that in the year marking the 30th anniversary of the adoption of the State Program ‘Saglyk,’ under your leadership, modern medical centers and specialized facilities are being built on a large scale throughout the country. In particular, the multipurpose hospitals planned for construction in the city of Ashgabat and in the city of Tejen of Ahal velayat, the Mother and Child Health Protection Center in Dashoguz city of Dashoguz velayat, as well as the Health House in the Bagtyyarlyk etrap of Ashgabat, initiated by you, have brought joy not only to healthcare workers but to our entire nation. The holding of the International Exhibition and Scientific Conference ‘Health, Education and Sports in the Era of the Revival of a New Epoch of a Powerful State’ in honor of the professional holiday also showcases the great achievements reached in the field of healthcare in the country,” said Hero-Arkadag.
“With the effective application of international experience and the development of international cooperation in the new historical era, a number of infectious diseases have been eradicated in our country. Turkmen doctors regularly visit leading clinics in Japan, Germany, Austria, Turkey, Belarus, Korea, and the Russian Federation to improve their qualifications.
The great achievements and progress in our country’s healthcare sector are recognized at the global level. From high international platforms, Turkmenistan is also putting forward important initiatives in the field of medical diplomacy. This is clearly confirmed by your address at the plenary session of the Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries held in Avaza this August, where you presented the initiative ‘Global Medicine of the Future – Solidarity and Cooperation.’ It is also gratifying that the European Regional Office of the World Health Organization awarded our country a special distinction in recognition of the ongoing work being carried out for the health and well-being of our people,” emphasized the National Leader of the Turkmen people.
The Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty wished the head of state strong health, long life, and further success in the work being carried out to develop and improve the healthcare sector.
