Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Khojamyrat Geldimyradov reported at a government meeting on the ongoing preparations for a scientific and practical conference dedicated to the 32nd anniversary of the introduction of the national manat.
During the conference, reports are expected to be presented on initiatives implemented under the guidance of the President of Turkmenistan, aimed at the socio-economic development of the country, transformations taking place in the banking sector, and economic achievements in the effective management of the national manat.
At the same time, discussions are planned on issues related to monetary policy, modern banking services provided through the implementation of digital technologies, the improvement of the electronic payment system, and cooperation with international financial institutions.
After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of proper preparation and ensuring the high-level organization of the scientific and practical conference dedicated to the 32nd anniversary of the introduction of the national currency – the manat – and gave the Vice Prime Minister a number of instructions in this regard.
