Turkmenistan football clubs Arkadag and Ahal learned their opponents in the group stage of the 2025/26 AFC Champions League 2 season. The tournament draw took place today, August 15, in the capital of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur, and formed the composition of all groups.

Arkadag ended up in Group B, where its opponents will be:

Al-Ahli (Qatar),

Andijan (Uzbekistan),

Al-Haldiya (Bahrain).

In turn, Ahal, which entered the draw as a representative of the fourth basket, will play in Group C. Its opponents are:

Sepahan (Iran),

Al-Hussein (Jordan),

Mohun Bagan (India).

The tournament brought together 32 clubs - 16 teams in the western and eastern zones. Representatives of Turkmenistan will fight for a place in the playoffs in the western part of the tournament, where the participants are divided into four groups of four clubs.

The group stage starts on September 16-17, and the final matches of the sixth round will be held on December 23-24. Each club will play against its opponent at home and away. The two best teams from each group will advance to the playoffs.
