A conference titled “Initiatives of Neutral Turkmenistan – for the Benefit of Common Prosperity” was held within the country's oil and gas complex. The event, chaired by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Batyr Amanov, brought together representatives of the state concerns "Turkmengaz", "Turkmennebit", and the "Turkmengeology" State Corporation.

Speakers at the conference included Vice Premier Batyr Amanov, State Minister of Turkmenistan and Chairman of the "Turkmengaz" State Concern Maksat Babayev, Chairman of the "Turkmennebit" State Concern Guvanch Agajanov, and Chairman of the "Turkmengeology" State Corporation Gurbanegeldi Garlyev.

It was noted that Turkmenistan's initiatives and efforts on the international stage during the "International Year of Peace and Trust" are based on the values of the country’s permanent neutrality. This was evidenced by the recent working visit of the Honorable President to New York and his speech at the plenary session of the 80th session of the UN General Assembly.

Achieving peace among nations and peoples is essential for the common good. The strengthening of peace, goodwill, and trust forms the foundation for achieving sustainable development. The neutrality policy pursued by our state is based on these very values. Turkmen neutrality embodies the noble principles of our people, such as equality and mutual respect.

The conference emphasized that the historic speech of the Honorable President at the 80th session of the UN General Assembly and Turkmenistan’s strategic priorities in the oil and gas sector have received broad support. Each initiative and proposal voiced from the high UN platform carries universal significance and addresses current and future global challenges.

The event also featured musical performances by artists from the Cultural and Business Center of the "Turkmengaz" State Enterprise. Songs and music praised the country’s Independence, Permanent Neutrality, and Homeland.

At the conclusion of the conference, an official Address to the Honorable President was adopted on behalf of the oil and gas industry workers.
