As Turkmenistan approaches the 30th anniversary of its permanent Neutrality, the country is actively implementing a broad energy policy. Comprehensive efforts are underway to develop the oil and gas sector and enhance its integration into the global energy system. Major projects focused on the extraction, processing, and export of hydrocarbon resources are being successfully realized.
The Balkan province is one of the richest regions in terms of oil and gas reserves. Industrial operations for the exploration and development of deposits in this area are carried out by the relevant departments of the State Concern “Turkmennebit,” including drilling, extraction, and overhaul divisions. Under the leadership of Arkadag Hero-Serdar, modern technologies are being widely introduced into the sector.
Turkmenistan holds leading positions globally in terms of hydrocarbon reserves. Accordingly, special attention is given to the stable development of the oil and gas complex, which is considered the backbone of the national economy.
In September of this year, the Turkmenistan Investment Forum was held in the “Avaza” National Tourist Zone. This event became a significant driver of economic growth, contributing to the implementation of strategic objectives such as strengthening the country's industrial capacity, promoting production through diversification, launching new manufacturing lines for high-demand goods, and enhancing the efficiency of existing enterprises.
