​The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty, Honorary Elder Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made another working trip to the new city, where he got acquainted with the projects of the second stage of construction and held a meeting with the participation of relevant leaders.

Currently, the pace of construction of the next stage of the smart city, which is being built on the initiative and with the active support of the Arkadaga Hero in the picturesque foothills of Kopetdag, is steadily increasing. In the implementation of social and industrial infrastructure projects, as well as in their development, a responsible approach is manifested, taking into account all factors and requirements.

In the morning, the National Leader of the Turkmen people arrived in the city of Arkadag, which is built on the basis of the "smart city" concept and combines advanced technologies and traditions of national architecture in its appearance.

These days, large–scale preparations for the country's main holiday, the Independence Day of Turkmenistan, have unfolded here, as clearly evidenced by the measures taken to maintain cleanliness and improve urban roads, parks and territories around buildings.

Chairman of the State Committee for the Construction of the city of Arkadag under the President of Turkmenistan D.Orazov and head of the city administration G.Mammedova informed about the pace of construction work. Schemes and projects of social facilities planned for implementation were also presented.

This is a shopping center, a hotel with an original design solution, a modern park, comfortable high-rise residential buildings, a sanatorium, a comprehensive information technology center, a business center, an Agricultural university.

At the same time, the National Leader of the Turkmen people was presented with a project of a wellness park, as well as an electronic device for displaying carpets.

After reviewing the drawings of the facilities planned for construction, the Arkadag Hero made a number of comments and made adjustments. As noted, the upcoming new buildings should fully meet the criteria of the "smart city" concept. As for social infrastructure structures, at the design stage it is necessary to ensure that design solutions match their profile.

Honored Architect of Turkmenistan Hero-Arkadag stressed the importance of compliance with the requirements when creating building projects specified in the urban development program. Along with the quality, the landscape and ecosystem of the area should be taken into account during the construction of facilities.

In this regard, Chairman Halk Maslahaty expressed the expediency of processing a number of projects, especially the campus of the Agricultural University. We are talking about creating an ensemble consisting of an academic building and other structures, including for agricultural research, which is a priority requirement, the Hero Arkadag emphasized.

Touching upon the topic of landscaping the territories around the park and along the highways of the new city, the National Leader of the Turkmen people stressed the importance of a scientific approach, as this will allow selecting tree species and flower species taking into account soil and climatic conditions, and to establish full-fledged care for them.

As for the construction of buildings, it is also necessary to focus on their decoration, including the interior, which should be in harmony with the coating of magnificent carpets. An integrated approach will not only improve the ergonomics of the facilities, but also their aesthetics, the National Leader of the Turkmen people noted and gave appropriate instructions.

Speaking about the electronic carpet display device that will be installed in the new city, Hero-Arkadag stressed the importance of using digital developments and new ways to ensure its full functioning. At the same time, information about the famous Turkmen carpets should be provided in many languages, which will ensure the availability of information for guests of our country.

Then the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting with the participation of Chairman of the State Committee for the Construction of the city of Arkadag under the President of Turkmenistan D.Orazov and head of the city administration G.Mammedova.

D.Orazov reported on the state of affairs at the facilities of the second stage and the steps being taken to increase the pace of their construction. As reported, within the framework of the last Investment Forum of Turkmenistan and the international conference on attracting high technologies and innovations to the national economy, a number of meetings were held at which issues of the development of the city of Arkadag and mechanisms for attracting investments to it were considered.

Hero-Arkadag ordered to ensure a responsible approach to solving tasks to accelerate the implementation of the second stage project, which will allow the facilities to be put into operation according to the established schedule. At the same time, targeted measures should be continued to attract investments in the construction and equipping of industrial infrastructure and Medical Cluster facilities.

The new city, located in a picturesque corner against the backdrop of the majestic Kopetdag, should meet modern demands in all respects, and in this case it is necessary to rely on best practices, use high-strength building materials that will last a long time, the National Leader of the Turkmen people said and gave a number of relevant instructions.

During the construction of the facilities of the second stage of the city of Arkadag, built according to the "smart city" concept, using innovative technologies and digital developments, it is important to combine elements of national architecture and the latest architectural achievements. This requirement applies to all structures, including residential ones.

The workshop continued with a message from the mayor of the city, G.Mammedova, on measures to settle modern residential buildings, as well as on preparations for celebrations on the occasion of significant dates of the national calendar. As noted, a program of cultural events has been prepared in this regard.

Speaking about the next meeting of the Halk Maslahaty, Independence Day, Day of Healthcare Workers and the Medical Industry, the International Day of Neutrality, Hero-Arkadag stressed the importance of displaying modern achievements of Turkmenistan in cultural events dedicated to them. At the same time, on the days of celebrations, public utilities should coordinate their work to maintain impeccable cleanliness and order in the city.

The new city is recognized as a city of youth, and this places responsibility on the younger generation, including for its upbringing in the spirit of patriotism, adherence to national traditions and customs. In this regard, the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty noted the need for joint efforts to strengthen the young residents' sense of love for the magnificent city and educate them as worthy people.

For the formation of young people who honor their past, the long-established noble traditions of the people and realize their importance, the participation of not only employees of the education system, but also representatives of the older generation is required, which implies regular educational events of an edifying nature. At the same time, a joint approach will increase the love of young Turkmen people for their native land with amazing nature, as well as pride in the achievements of the Fatherland, the Hero-Arkadag said.

Touching upon the topic of digital technologies in the new city, Chairman Halk Maslahaty noted the need to expand the scope of use of relevant innovations. Along with this, it is worth paying attention to the development of advanced developments and their implementation in residential buildings under construction.

Today, the new city is widely known, its popularity is growing, as evidenced by the awarding of three special awards to the city of Arkadag at the World Smart City Expo, held in the Republic of Korea. In this regard, the Hero-Arkadag ordered to take appropriate measures to enhance international partnership in this area.

Speaking about the implementation of the "Program of the President of Turkmenistan for the socio-economic development of the country in 2022-2028", the National Leader of the Turkmen people noted the effectiveness of solving the tasks defined in it. As it was emphasized, such dynamics has a significant positive impact on the transformation of the appearance of cities and improving the well-being of the population.
