Turkmenistan Plans to Open Trading Houses in Tajikistan and Japan

Turkmenistan is actively developing trade relations with foreign countries, planning to open trading houses in Tajikistan, Japan, and other nations.

Trade and economic cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Asia-Pacific region, the Middle East, Europe, and Latin America is dynamically developing both bilaterally and multilaterally. Joint projects are successfully being implemented in key areas such as the digitalization of the economy, diversification, support for the private sector, and the development of transit corridors.

Turkmenistan is actively adopting the advanced practices of foreign trade systems. Turkmenistan's trading houses abroad play an important role in this process, and their number is steadily increasing.

Currently, Russian trading houses in Russia, Belarus, and Turkey make a significant contribution to strengthening trade turnover.

As part of the implementation of Turkmenistan's Foreign Economic Activity Development Program for 2020-2025, negotiations are actively underway to open trading houses in Tajikistan, Japan, and other countries.
