On November 18, Guvanchmyrat Atayev, Consul General of Turkmenistan in the Islamic Republic of Iran (Mashhad), met with Gholamhossein Mozaffari, Governor of Razavi Khorasan Province in Iran.
During the meeting, the parties emphasized the role of the Memorandum of Understanding on Economic, Trade, Scientific, Technical, and Cultural Cooperation between the Mary Region of Turkmenistan and Razavi Khorasan Province in strengthening bilateral cooperation.
They also noted the importance of reciprocal visits by delegations led by the governors of the two regions, as well as exhibitions and performances by cultural figures during such visits.
In addition, issues related to trade, economic, transport, transit, scientific, educational, sports, and healthcare cooperation between Turkmenistan and Iran were discussed.
