Most of the proceeds belonged to the products of the country's oil and petrochemical complex. Thus, representatives of business circles from Turkey, Afghanistan, the United Arab Emirates and Malta purchased aviation kerosene, liquefied gas and technical sulfur for foreign currency. In addition, Turkmen entrepreneurs purchased substandard polyethylene and PET packaging tape for manat funds.
Also in the course of the auction last week, handmade carpets and raw silk were in demand.
