On October 9, the grand opening of the International Exhibition "Healthcare, Education and Sports in the Era of the Renaissance of a new era of a powerful state" took place at the Martial Arts Sports Complex. The event is timed to coincide with the widely celebrated Day of Healthcare Workers and the Medical Industry of Turkmenistan.

The annual forum, which has gained a reputation as one of the largest and most prestigious, helps to build bridges of cooperation with foreign partners in the field of health, education and sports.

The opening ceremony of the show, organized by the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry together with the Ministry of Education, the State Committee for Physical Culture and Sports of Turkmenistan, was attended by members of the Government, heads of diplomatic missions and international organizations accredited in our country, venerable elders, heads and representatives of ministries and departments, medical scientific and clinical centers, the Academy of Sciences, public organizations, educational institutions, media, healthcare workers, as well as the participants of the opening ceremonies of the International Wellness and Rehabilitation Center and the International Scientific and Clinical Center of Physiology held today.

Performances by creative teams, who enthusiastically performed dance compositions and songs dedicated to the Motherland, increased the importance of the current event.

With great enthusiasm, the audience listened to the Address of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, sent to the participants of the International Exhibition and Scientific Conference "Healthcare, Education and Sports in the era of the Revival of a new era of a powerful state." As emphasized in the message of the head of state, today the national health, education and sports system, where significant progress has been observed, has significantly strengthened the basis, which is largely due to the measures taken to implement fundamental reforms and introduce best practices. Targeted work in this area is carried out in cooperation with the world's leading specialized centers.

In the era of the Rebirth of a new era of a powerful state, we are also consistently, according to international standards, improving the education system as a key factor in the country's sustainable development. In general, proper work is being carried out to train educated and erudite youth who are well versed in advanced technologies, the President of Turkmenistan noted.

In his message, the President of the country also stressed that we attach great importance to the development of physical education and sports, as they are a source of health, have great power that consolidates society and the state. Given that Turkmenistan is a member of the International Olympic Committee and the Olympic Council of Asia, we will continue to strengthen its authority as a sports power, as well as popularize sports recognized by the Ambassador of peace in the world.

From year to year, this forum expands the geography of the participating countries, offering new ideas and approaches based on innovative technologies and broad international cooperation.

The exposition of the exhibition reflects the impressive pace of development of the domestic healthcare system, achievements and huge potential of Turkmenistan in the field of medical science and industry, public health protection, as well as the growing interest of foreign partners in active cooperation in this direction.

Among the exhibitors of the show are foreign manufacturers of pharmaceutical products, medical equipment and consumables from Russia, Belarus, Germany, USA, France, Great Britain, Turkey, India, China, Korea, etc., providing a variety of medical services, a wide range of natural cosmetics, baby food.

Among the participants of the exhibition are long–time partners of Turkmen doctors - "Set Medical", "Gedeon Rihter", "Korea Meditech", "Herbion International Inc", "Lucky Healthcare Co., Ltd.", "SRS Life Science Pte. Ltd", "Atak Cerrahi Münler", "Roche", "KRKA tovarna zdravil, d.d.Novo mesto", "KRKA", "Fresenius Medical Care Deutschland GmbH" and others.

The Arkadag Pavilion opens the show. A monitor installed in the center of the stand of the Arkadag city Health Department shows videos about the multidisciplinary work of medical institutions in the "smart" city. Certificates and publishing products are also presented.

There is also an exposition of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care, which has been carrying out effective humanitarian activities since its inception.

The funds regularly allocated from the Charity Fund are used to carry out various operations in medical institutions of the country, as well as to pay for the costs of treatment and the purchase of appropriate medical supplies for young Turkmen citizens in need of care. Prosthetic products, hearing aids and wheelchairs were purchased at the expense of the Fund for Orphans and children from low-income families.

A special place is given to the Arkadag Medisina Klasteri Menejment enterprise, where the production of milk formulas for children over six months old, enriched with micro- and macroelements, vitamins, has been established. The assortment includes rice, rice-banana, semolina and honey porridges, as well as porridge from 7 cereals. Arkadag Medisina Klasteri Menejment strictly follows the requirements of national and international standards TDS ISO 9001 quality management system. All products undergo laboratory tests, which guarantees their safety.

The pavilion of the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry presents copies of international certificates attesting to the recognition of the merits of our country in the elimination of a number of infectious diseases. As you know, the experience of Turkmen doctors in this field is recommended for dissemination in the states of the WHO European region.

It should be noted that Turkmenistan is successfully implementing programs to improve the health care system. Within the framework of the State Program "Saglyk" developed by the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, diagnostic and treatment centers, the Arkadag Medisina Klasteri Menejment enterprise, multidisciplinary hospitals, sanatoriums, health homes, enterprises for the production of medicines were commissioned in the shortest possible time in the cities of Ashgabat and Arkadag, as well as in the velayats drugs. The construction of specialized medical institutions continues in the capital – the International Scientific and Clinical Center of Oncology, the Center of Dentistry and the International Center of Pediatrics, which in the coming years will replenish the universal infrastructure of the healthcare sector.

On the occasion of the professional holiday, the solemn opening of the International Scientific and Clinical Center of Physiology and the International Health and Rehabilitation Center, as well as the enterprise for the production of glycyrrhizic acid in the city of Turkmenabat, administrative buildings of the Sanitary and Epidemiological Service of Mary Velayat and Mary city took place in Ashgabat today.

Effectively implemented innovative technologies, advanced equipment from well-known manufacturing companies, an expanded network of specialized institutions whose specialists receive qualified training in leading medical centers – all this has ensured a high level of medical services provided even by world standards, a decrease in morbidity and, as a result, an increase in life expectancy of the population. After all, it is the health of the people that is not only the main wealth of the country, but also a solid foundation on which the happy future of the current and future generations of Turkmen people is based.

A special place in the exposition is devoted to the scientific works of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Hero-Arkadag.

The international exhibition "Healthcare, Education and Sports in the Era of the Renaissance of a new era of a powerful state" is an ideal platform for product promotion, business development, market research, meetings with specialists from different regions of the country and abroad. Therefore, it is natural that domestic private companies – members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan - are widely represented here. The stands of such sanatoriums and health resorts as "Bayramali", "Berzengi", "Bagabat", "Archman", "Yyly Suv", "Farab", "Mollakara", "Dashoguz" make up a separate exposition block.  

The Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan also presents its achievements in the current review. The video, stands and exhibits introduce guests to the systematic promotion of digital education, which is a powerful catalyst for innovation, new knowledge, science, advanced technologies and competitiveness.

On the monitor installed in the center of the exhibition area of the State Committee for Physical Education and Sports, videos are shown telling about the multifaceted activities carried out in the country under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov to strengthen the health of the nation, introduce Turkmen people to a healthy lifestyle, physical culture and sports.

On October 10, a thematic scientific conference will be held within the framework of the International Exhibition "Healthcare, Education and Sports in the Era of the Renaissance of a new era of a powerful state".
