On 4 October, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers to sum up the results of the work of economic sectors for the first nine months of the year and define the tasks ahead.

Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers B.Amanov reported on the results of work carried out by the supervised complex for January-September 2024, on the practical steps taken to increase production volumes and expand energy supply routes to the world market.

It was also reported on technical and economic indicators achieved in the field of oil and gas condensate production, in particular, the State Concern ‘Türkmennebit’ has fulfilled the plan at the level of 102.6 per cent.

For 9 months the indicators of oil refining at the refineries of the State Concern made 104.1 per cent, petrol production - 106.9 per cent, lubricating oils - 105.9 per cent, production of natural and associated gas - 100.3 per cent, supplies of "blue fuel" abroad - 101.7 per cent.

At the same time, it was reported on the results of activities in the production of diesel fuel, polypropylene and liquefied gas.

Summarising the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov stressed the importance of further improving the work of the oil and gas complex. Noting the need for stable functioning and increasing production capacities of the fuel and energy complex enterprises, the Head of State gave specific instructions to the Deputy Prime Minister.
