On January 9, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, chaired a meeting of the State Organizational Committee, which was established by Presidential Decree of Serdar Berdimuhamedov and is led by the Halk Maslahaty. The meeting, attended by the Chairwoman of the Mejlis and members of the Cabinet of Ministers, focused on preparations for the high-level celebration of Turkmenistan's 30th anniversary of neutrality and the United Nations General Assembly's proclamation of 2025 as the "International Year of Peace and Trust."

Addressing the Chairwoman of the Mejlis, D. Gulmanova, the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty emphasized the importance of enhancing legislative activities in line with the planned events and expanding awareness and outreach efforts among the population. It was also highlighted that a project for the jubilee medal and commemorative badge, dedicated to the "International Year of Peace and Trust" and the 30th anniversary of the country's neutrality, should be developed in collaboration with Vice Premier H. Geldimyradov and the Chairman of the Central Bank.

Furthermore, Vice Premier H. Geldimyradov was instructed to ensure adequate financial support for the upcoming events, while Vice Premier B. Amanov was tasked with providing necessary assistance in addressing organizational matters.
