The year passed under the slogan "Turkmenistan - Homeland of Peace and Trust" is coming to an end soon and we will enter the new year of Tiger, 2022. The tiger is considered the bravest, strongest and most courageous in the animal kingdom. The Turkmens compare the courage of young people with the courage of Tiger. There is no doubt that the Tiger, as a symbol of courage, will bring better results in the new year than the achievements of our hardworking people in the past year. This year, our country has made great strides in the socio-economic, cultural, intellectual, artistic and literary, transport, chemical, fuel and energy sectors of the economy, as well as in construction, the textile industry, agriculture and other sectors of the national economy. The budget of our state is replenished with new incomes. The personal savings of the working people have increased significantly. There is an increase in the educational and intellectual level of society. The way of life of our people has become even closer to the era of modern times. At the same time, the oil and gas sector has made great strides. According to the results of the last ten months, the plan for the production of high-octane gasoline was fulfilled by 107 percent, and the plan for the production of polypropylene - by 107,4 percent. The plan for all sources of investment financing for large sectors, as well as for investments in international projects developed jointly with foreign companies, has been fulfilled by 108 percent. The main branches of the oil and gas sector fulfilled the plan for the export of natural and associated gas by 122,8 percent, and the plan for the export of "blue fuel" to foreign markets - by 134,7 percent. Compared to the corresponding period of last year, the growth of these indicators amounted to 123,9 percent and 139,6 percent, respectively. The oil and gas complex of Turkmenistan, being one of the main sectors of the national economy, fully satisfies the country's needs for fuel, sends surplus raw materials from domestic demand to foreign countries. The power of our country's economic growth depends to a large extent on industrial extraction, processing and production of energy resources. In this regard, a sustainable and reliable energy supply constitutes a fundamental component of a country's economic security, which, in turn, is a key component of national security, prosperity and world peace. In other words, fuel producing countries have a high responsibility to ensure not only the safety of their routes, but also to prevent harmful emissions and their non-proliferation in the environment. Our country proposes its international initiatives on this issue, on the basis of which the UN General Assembly adopts appropriate resolutions.
The industries that make up the oil and gas complex of Turkmenistan ensure safe transportation and sustainable supply of fuel resources. At present, long-term energy security programs are being implemented in Turkmenistan. At the same time, the legal basis for the principles of the state's foreign energy policy is being strengthened, and new programs are being developed. Today, the oil and gas sector is expanding its work to ensure uninterrupted supplies of products made from raw materials to domestic consumers and to increase export volumes to foreign countries. Thanks to the fuel and energy strategy of our esteemed President in this area, Turkmenistan is significantly strengthening its position.
