Training highly qualified specialists, who are capable of freely mastering innovative technologies, for all sectors of the national economy of the country is one of the priority tasks set by the President of Turkmenistan, which is being actively implemented. During the period of the Revival of the New Era of the Powerful State, the Department of Professional Training Improvement of the Mary Oil and Gas Secondary Vocational School of the Türkmengaz State Concern is carrying out purposeful work to improve the level of qualifications and professional training of personnel involved in the oil and gas industry of the country. 

In this Department, according to a special curriculum, courses are delivered to improve the skills of specialists who enrich their knowledge about innovative technologies and modern equipment applied in the oil and gas industry. Classrooms of the vocational school are fully supplied with modern technical equipment for classes – interactive whiteboards, visual aids, and other technical means regarding the oil and gas industry. 

Experienced teachers with extensive work expertise in production work in the Department of Professional Training Improvement of the school. Classes delivered by such teachers-mentors as Amandurdy Agayev, Orazgeldy Ishanguliyev, Jumageldy Hydyrov and Rejepmurat Annayev successfully strengthen theoretical knowledge with practical examples. 

With the help of models of drilling rigs, employees of oil and gas exploration expeditions of the Türkmengeologiýa State Corporation expand their theoretical and practical knowledge about the principles of operation of structures, installation of casing strings and plugging wells and modern methods for preventing gas and oil ingresses and open gushers of wells. 

With the help of moving models of treatment facilities and main facilities for the purification of natural gas from sulphur, installed in the classrooms at the Galkynyş field of the Marygazçykaryş Directorate of the Türkmengaz State Concern, teachers step by step demonstrate the production of “blue fuel” from wells and its collection at the facility, where using innovative technologies, it is purified from sulphur and then is sent to consumers through high-pressure pipelines. 

Thus, thanks to such theoretical studies, workers have the opportunity to become acquainted with the technological process corresponding to world standards, introduced at the facilities of the Galkynyş field, which takes one of the world’s leading places in terms of natural gas resources. 
The senior master of industrial training of the Department of Professional Training Improvement of the Mary Oil and Gas Secondary Vocational School Kakajan Kakageldiyev says: 

“Since the beginning of 2022, proclaimed as “The Era of the People with Arkadag”, more than 700 employees of the enterprises of the Türkmengazüpjünçilik and Türkmengazakdyryş Associations of the Türkmengaz State Concern and oil and gas exploration expeditions of the Türkmengeologiýa State Corporation have taken courses to improve professional training in our Department of Professional Training Improvement. At the end of the course, they were awarded the relevant certificates.”
